Objective
Katana-ya is a SF local Japanese Restaurant. Katana-ya wants to claim that it offers "very very traditional" Japanese food and be differentiated from other Bay Area Japanese restaurant.
Solution
To deliver the "very very traditional" concept, we bring in traditional Japanese art characters—"Yokai", which means monsters, and tell a bit of a story about how good food can soothe people.
Posters
These posters may be found on downtown bus stops. Once you scan the QR code on the posters, you'll be directed to a web page where a brief story of the monster is told and shows the menu of the featured dish and more recommended items.
